Blue tapestry linen wall hanging

Made to order - 3-4 week leadtime.

17th century vintage Dutch tapestry fragment, printed on 100% oatmeal linen. Tasmanian oak rod to top with beeswax finish and hand-dyed hemp rope.

Beautiful rich blue foliage with softer blues and blue-greys, tans and caramels. Three birds are nestled in the trees and one in flight.

Printed in Melbourne, handmade in Newcastle Australia in my teeny tiny garden studio.

Measurements - This comes in MEDIUM and LARGE sizes

LARGE: 1450mm wide x 1450mm long overall (including hanger) which is approx 57"x57" overall. The fabric component is: 1330mm wide x 1120mm high (excluding hanger)

MEDIUM: 1090mm wide x 1080mm long overall (including hanger) which is approx 43" x 43". The fabric component is: 990mm wide x 780mm high (excluding hanger)

Fabric -

100% oatmeal linen (slubby and rustic for the texture lovers.)

Care instructions -

100% linen. Dry cleanable. Non-machine washable. Gentle handwash using phosphate-free detergent. Do not wring or rub. Do not tumble dry. Carefully hang to dry in shade without pegs. Warm iron on wrong side, before rehanging on hanger.

Due to the nature of natural and organic fabrics there are small fibers and slubs in the fabric that can lift the print in tiny spots with washing and general wear. Please follow washing instructions to minimize this effect. Do not rub or ring fabric.
